Sectional Garage Doors

Sectional garage doors are made up of separate sections that lift vertically and projects into the garage on tracks. This allows for closer parking to the garage door as there is no “swing out“ like the traditional side hung or up & over doors. The door is comprised of a premium 42 mm thick insulation that’s ideal for integral garages and garage doors with bedrooms above. Four different door designs, six surface finishes and a massive selection of colours, means there are an extensive range of door combinations, to suit homes with either modern or traditional looks.

Excellent Thermal Perfomance

The sections are comprised of double plated steel and 42mm of CFC-free PU rigid foam insulation. They feature rubber weather seals on all sections of the door and frame, to help keep heat in and cold air and water out. This allows better regulation of the temperature within a garage, meaning a cooler garage in the summer and warmer one in the winter months. With this in mind, a garage which was once an unregulated thermal vacuum, can become a comfortable living space such as a home office or gym.

Safe and Secure

The sectional garage door is an excellent balance of style and utility, with robust security. Accredited with the Secured by design (SBD) police and home insurers preferred specification, a sectional door is the best option to keep your home safe and secure. When motorised, the door has no visible locking systems to be tampered with, as well as this, the motors mechanical lock stops the door being forced up, making both forced and covert entry to the garage extremely difficult.

Exceptional Quality

Sectional garage doors are manufactured in europe with quality control and safety testing standards, using hard wearing matierials with both security and themal insulation in mind. Each door section is 42 mm thick and filled with CFC-free PU rigid foam. This is encased by a galvanised steel skin on both sides of the panel, for a strong and sturdy construction.

Frequently Asked Questions

Whatever height your door is, say 2000mm, the tracks project an additional 510mm (for a 2000mm high door the tracks project 2510mm into the garage)

Not at all, there is a manual option offered at a reduced price, however the lead time is extended and the door must be fitted with a handle and locking system.

The surface finish of the door comes with a 10 year warranty (as long as you are not 5 miles from the coast) and the mechanics and operator come with a 5 year warranty.

Average lead time is 2-3 weeks for a white automated door, 6-8 weeks for a coloured or manual door.

We recommend washing the door down when dirty (usually twice a year) and spraying all the moving parts with a spray silicone based lubricant. Yearly service plans are also available.

The main limitation of a sectional door is its projection into the garage on tracks. This can remove internal storage space in your garage.
