Insulated Roller Garage Doors

The insulated roller door is a great way to both automate and insulate a garage, without compromising on internal space within. As the door opens directly into your roof space, this allows the full utility of a shorter drive as the door will not kick out when opening. In a wide variety of colours and laminate finishes, the insulated roller is a popular option for upgrading your garage.

Insulated Roller Garage Doors

Quality And Reliability

The insulated roller doors we use are from well established quality suppliers, whose products come with legitimate warranties and safety systems as standard, as well as technical support for both the customer and installers. Made from double plated aluminium foam filled latts which interlock together, this design allows the compact rolling of an automated door, without the tracking systems of other options.

Frequently Asked Questions

No, and when thinking of purchasing one, take great care in looking into warranties and reviews of the products and fitters you are looking to buy from. The advertising market has been flooded with inferior products offerd at very low prices that are manufactured with substandard material and poor to non existent safety systems. Unfortunatly, we as a company regularly attend non complient insulated roller doors that have failed and the company used either disappears, or are not willing to attend to fix the issue.

No, the insulated roller requires the eternal surface finish to be kept clean of debris and cleaned regularly with a light detergent using a non abrasive cloth or sponge. non-compliance with this could damage the finish and void warranties.

Yes, the door includes a safety system as standard, which includes force limitation technology, automatically detecting an obstruction and auto reversing on contact. These safety systems are tested and follow strict guidelines designed to keep the user safe.

No, the seal on the door is weather proof, however there is always a chance of water ingress under the door after fitting (if your floor is out of level or in poor condition). If this does occur however we do offer an after market seal which we can bond to your floor to create a seal that the door seal can close onto.

No, generally insulated garage doors are quieter than the generic up & over doors as the insulation helps to absorb sound and reduce vibrations.

On wider doors, there is more flex than on smaller ones. As well as this, by the nature of the door rolling on itself, over time, scuff marks will form with wear and tear on the inside and outside of the curtain. This will be made worse by not keeping the door clean and free of debris.
