Established in 2007, Gary’s father John created GDS Cumbria, initially trading from a showroom in Carlisle. Upon moving to the Eden area. The business continued grow in 15 years, where John built a strong business image, being noted for his product and fitting knowledge, competitive low prices and friendliness. In 2014 The business began to show substantial growth, with the addition of two factors:
1. His son Gary became part of the GDS team
2. The company became an official WHICH trusted trader
In 2019 John decided to enjoy retirement and passed the reigns to Gary to continue with the core values of GDS, introducing new products and manufactures to the business, GDS Cumbria Ltd remains one of the top garage/front door suppliers in Cumbria and the surrounding districts.
