Garage Door Services Cumbria was founded in 2007

Garage Door Services was established in 2007, when proprietor John Palmer moved from Newcastle upon Tyne, and began initially trading from a showroom in Carlisle. He subsequently moving his business to just outside Penrith when the downturn in the economy kicked in several years later

Over the past 15 Years John has built up a strong business image, being noted for his product and fitting knowledge, competitive low prices and friendliness

In 2014 The business began to show substantial growth, with the addition of two factors:
1. His son Gary became part of the GDS team
2. The company became an official WHICH trusted trader

These two attributes, combined with John's intricate knowledge, has helped GDS to proudly move forward to become one of the foremost garage door companies in Cumbria and surrounding districts
